Men’s and women’s tennis compete in ITA All-American tournament

The Cavaliers have now won all of their NCAA Championship matches by the same score of 4-0 and will play No. 2 Florida in the quarterfinal.
The Cavaliers have now rattled off 19 wins in a row and will host No. 10 South Carolina next in a Super Regional.
Experience is going to have to carry the Cavaliers through this tournament if they hope to make a run.

The No. 6 Virginia men’s tennis team earned the regular-season title and the top seed in the Atlantic Coast Conference Men’s Tennis Championship after defeating Virginia Tech Wednesday and Boston College Sunday.
With just two games remaining in the regular season, Virginia is incredibly close to locking down their second straight season of undefeated play in the ACC.
With four conference games remaining, Virginia has put themselves in a strong position to be the No. 1 seed in the ACC tournament.

After a 4-0 start in Atlantic Coast Conference play, the Cavaliers appear to have found a strong sense of rhythm.
Virginia has now won three matches in a row and have put themselves in a very strong position at 2-0 in the ACC, especially after going through a difficult stretch early in the season.
The Cavaliers will look to learn from these losses and rebound as the beginning of conference play looms.
No. 6 Virginia men’s tennis continued its strong start to the season with a pair of wins at home.
This will mark the Cavaliers’ 15th trip to the NCAA Tournament Round of 16 in the last 16 seasons.
Having to battle back in multiple matches, the Cavaliers earned the ACC Championship title and finished off a perfect season in the conference.
With strong doubles play early and gritty performances from singles, there is no reason this team can't bring another ACC title back to Charlottesville.
With the two wins over the weekend, this marks the first ACC regular-season title for Coach Andres Pedroso as the head coach of the Virginia men’s tennis team.
Virginia leaves its new facility at Boar’s Head for the season a perfect 10-0 and remains undefeated in the ACC.
It is reasonable to believe that Virginia will eclipse their season-high No. 4 rank, and potentially earn the top spot in the country with less than a month before postseason play.
