Women’s rugby All-Star Tournament gives Virginia much-deserved time in the spotlight

Although the scrimmage itself was a tough loss for Virginia, the Cavaliers were appreciative of the opportunity to play in a professional rink and have such a large crowd there cheering them on.
While the Cavaliers had a talented locker room, something just did not click this season.
“I am really proud of our team,” Coach Shannon Wells said.
Next up, Virginia will continue its time on the road Friday to face No. 15 North Carolina.
Down two sets to none, Virginia came all the way back.
"We're a better serving team than that," Coach Shannon Wells said.
Virginia frittered away two match points in the fifth set.
Virginia marked its home opener with a convincing performance.
Volleyball could have been fully relegated to a subpar playing space. Instead, it is getting additional games at JPJ.
