The ISIS man leaveth University students using the new Integrated Student Information System Online can find more than class enrollment. In addition to scheduling their classes over the Internet, they also can make address changes, check degrees and honors, and access their SAT scores and transfer credits.

The new functions were added to the web site during the second week in August, University Registrar Ann Antrobus said. Antrobus said the new ISIS Online options were a joint venture between the Registrar's Office and ITC.

"The whole purpose of the changes was to bring students what we think they'd like," she said. "In the past, students would call for things like transcripts and other information that couldn't be given over the phone. Now, they can go online and print the information out. It saves them a trip. The whole mission of the Registrar's Office is to serve the students."

Keeping with tradition, ISIS Online boots users off after two minutes of being idle.

No word yet on how these changes affect the ISIS man and his position in the lives of University students.
