    Devils doom Tar Heels

Five Duke players scored in double digits as the No. 11 Blue Devils held on to take a 79-76 victory over unranked North Carolina to win their first ACC women's basketball championship.

Duke's Lauren Rice and Georgia Schweitzer each scored 16 to counter a 31-point performance by Tar Heel Nikki Teasley. Carolina came back from a nine-point deficit with seven minutes left but just fell short of their sixth ACC title.
