Over the last three years, Cavalier fans have become accustomed to seniopr Jason Rogers as a gentle giant; the man who cheers on his team from the sidelines; the man who proudly waved the Hooville flag after Virginia's Valentine's Day victory over Duke two years ago; and the man wh onow will assume a new role, captain. Along with senior Travis Watson and redshirt junior Mahestic Mapp, Rogers will be one of the Captains for Virginia. For Cavalier coach Pete Gillen, naming Rogers a captain was more than just a title. The 6-foot-11 Staunton native has shown considerable growth on the court.
