In feud, 'Eye' for an eye leaves Rule blind

Even the most casual observer of hip-hop knows what's going on: Ja Rule's back is up against the ropes. You know the story: Ja and 50 Cent are engaged in a lyrical war that many fear will result in the same tragic outcome as the murders of hip-hop legends the Notorious B.I.G. and 2Pac.

So who is winning this fierce battle thus far? That too depends on who you ask, but the most popular sentiment seems to be that Ja Rule's career is over -- and many are saying good riddance. With just about everybody jumping on the 50 Cent bandwagon, is it possible that Ja Rule could again become one of the most popular hip-hop artists in the world?

He is trying to do just that with "Blood in My Eye," his first CD since 50 fever swept the nation last year.

The album opens with "Murder Intro," a skit in which Ja proclaims, "I'm about to be on some real murder sh*t
