Men's tennis stays undefeated

The No. 29 ranked Virginia men's tennis squad kept its unbeaten record intact in Williamsburg, Va. Wednesday with an easy victory over No.44 William & Mary. The Cavaliers (8-0) lost only one singles match on the day, while sweeping the doubles point and posting five other wins in singles matches.

Stephen Rozek recorded Virginia's only loss of the afternoon at the No. 2 singles match, falling in three sets to Sean Kelleher, 3-6, 6-1, 6-4.

With the exception of Virginia's top threat, No. 25 Doug Stewart, all other Cavalier wins came in straight sets. Stewart struggled in the first two frames against near counterpart No. 26 Jeff Kader, but eventually proved too much for his opponent, taking the point 7-6 (7-0), 2-6, 6-2.
