No. 33 Virginia women's tennis defeats Princeton

The Cavalier women's tennis team traveled to Princeton Saturday and defeated the Tigers 6-1. The victory was the fifth straight for Virginia, including two straight wins against Ivy League schools after last weekend's triumph over Brown.

In the singles matches, No. 74 Mariko Fritz-Krockow led the attack for Virginia, and the team won five of their six contests. The Cavaliers had undefeated success of in doubles matches, as the No. 38 team of Lauren Bruch and Fritz-Krockow won in the first bout, Kristen James and Shannon Stough in the second, and Caroline Hammond and Kyle Montgomery in the third.
