Women's tennis falls to VCU, 5-2, at Snyder

The No. 62 Virginia women's tennis team lost to No. 56 Virginia Commonwealth University, 5-2, last night. The loss marked the fourth straight for the 9-6 Cavaliers. VCU (10-6) took the doubles point to begin the match, but Virginia tied the score at 1-1 when the Rams defaulted at the No. 6 singles spot. Dora Bechliwanis recorded the night's only singles win for the Cavaliers.

Virginia will next face conference rivals Georgia Tech on March 27 and Clemson on March 28.
