TV is life.

A new school year allows us to reflect on the past, present and future. It dawned on me that it being 2004, we're much closer to the future world (2015) Marty McFly visits in Back to the Future than the 1985 from whence he came. And yes, everything relates to BTTF. The thing that makes me mad about Back to the Future II isn't the fact that we still don't have hovercars, hoverboards, self-lacing shoes, self-drying jackets, 80s themed cafes, interactive holograms, dehydrated pizzas, thumbprint doors in our homes or dog-walking leashes. It's the fact that we don't have ANY of those things.

On March 19, the Federal Communications Commission authorized Nexstar Media Group to finalize its acquisition of TEGNA Media Group, potentially creating the most expensive and largest broadcast media company in U.S. history. However, there have been many appeals of the decision, as it could have lasting implications for the media that students at the University consume and study.
