Women's soccer registers another win, extends shutout streak to four games

No. 6 Virginia continued its early-season dominance, winning its fourth game of the season with a 1-0 shutout over No. 21 West Virginia.

Six and a half minutes into the game, Virginia forward Kristin Weiss knocked the ball into the back of the West Virginia net from 20 yards out. The early goal would be the only score of the game as Virginia took the victory and extended its shutout streak to 360 minutes.

Cavalier goalkeeper Christina de Vries had two saves in the contest. She has yet to allow a goal in her collegiate career (468 minutes of play).
