Swimming defeats Georgia Tech, remains undefeated

Over the weekend, the Virginia men's and women's swimming teams defeated the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets to remain undefeated this season.

The women turned in a convincing 134-100 victory over the Yellow Jackets, winning 11 of 13 events. Among the events, the 14th-ranked women clocked in a first place time in the 200-medley relay, led off by junior backstroker Brielle White. This win puts the women's team at 4-0 overall and 3-0 in the ACC.

The 10th-ranked men won 11 events as well, posting a score of 140-97. In the 1,000-meter freestyle, junior Fran Crippen set a pool record at 9:07.29. The men improve their season record to 3-0 overall and 2-0 in the ACC.
