Blue picked for All-ACC women's basketball squad

The Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association named senior LaTonya Blue to the All-ACC Second Team yesterday. Blue, a 5-foot-11-inch combo guard-forward from Baltimore, Md. leads the Cavalier offense with 12.5 points per game, including 14.9 points in conference games. She serves as team captain this year and stands 17th in all-time scoring in Virginia history.

Last season, Blue was selected for the ACC All-Defensive Team and earned the 2004 Cavalier of the Year team award. Blue and the rest of the fifth-seeded Cavaliers travel to Greensboro, N.C. to face off against Florida State at the ACC tournament Saturday.
