Basketball teams host fan fest

Hoos Hoop Madness, the first opportunity U.Va. fans will have to see the men and women's basketball teams, will be held at University Hall this Friday, Oct. 14 from 5:30 to 8:15 p.m. The event will be free and will begin with a fan fest that will feature an autograph session with both teams. Additionally, the fan fest will have music, a moon bounce, cotton candy, popcorn and a chicken wing-eating contest for U.Va. students.

At 6:30 p.m., Hoos Hoop Madness will move inside where fans will be addressed by men's coach Dave Leitao and women's coach Debbie Ryan. Three point shooting and dunk contests will follow, along with a "Get to know the players" jeopardy game.
