Women's golf ranked No. 12

The University of Virginia Women's golf team has moved up eight spots and is now ranked 12th nationally. The ranking, announced by golfweek.com is the team has received since its conception a little over two years ago. Their previous highest came last fall from their first poll ever in which they were ranked 14th.

Individually, junior Leah Wigger and sophomore Lauren Mielbrecht are ranked 19th and 20th respectively with 71.40 each.
