FOOTBALL: Virginia Tech game set for noon The Nov. 24 contents between Virginia Tech and Virginia will commence at 12:00 p.m. and will be nationally televised by either ESPN or ESPN2. The winner of the game will advance to the ACC Championship in Jacksonville the following Saturday to play the winner of Atlantic Division. Nov. 17, Clemson will host Boston College to determine who will represent the Atlantic.

WOMEN'S ROWING: Virginia racks up 5

The Virginia women's rowing team picked up five first-place finishes this past Sunday at the 2007 Rivanna Romp. The Cavaliers picked up victories in the varsity eight, novice eight, women's four, women's double and women's single.

In the varsity eight, Virginia's A boat claimed a time of 13:21.62 to finish first in the race.

The novice eight was claimed by the Virginia A boat with a time of 14:23.22. The B boat also finished with a time of 15:25.66

In the women's four, Virginia's A, B and C boats finished first through third, respectively. Their times were 15:30.97, 15:35.58 and 15:55.48

Virginia also found victory in the women's double with a time of 15:30.06 and the women's single with a time of 17:41.08.

The Rivanna Romp wraps up the fall season for Virginia.
