UBE member selection

There was an opinion column in the Cavalier Daily yesterday written by Isaac Wood concerning the UBE. I accidentally gave Isaac some incorrect information, and I would like to correct my mistake.

The selection of the UBE members follows a very strict process which is outlined in our constitution. This process was indeed followed last year, and I apologize for stating that a different process was followed. Please see the UBE’s Web site for information on the selection process that has been strictly followed in the past, and will continue to be followed this year.

I sincerely apologize for the errors in my statements. I would like to ensure that the student body is aware of the UBE’s neutrality and role as a service provider to students and student-run organizations.
