Dr. Dog album offers musical medicine

My love for Dr. Dog's music grew exponentially after seeing them at the Jefferson Theater downtown last year. With their smooth sound, which is inspired by 1960s pop bands, Dr. Dog easily captured listeners' attention with catchy melodies.

Needless to say, my expectations were high for their latest album, Be the Void, and it didn't disappoint. The Pennsylvania-based band's Be the Void provides a sound similar to their previous albums, which is sure to satisfy diehard fans and newcomers alike.

Dr. Dog has been accumulating a solid fan base for the past few years, and it doesn't appear they will slow down any time soon. Not only is Be the Void an excellent new album to add to their discography, but they will also be playing at Hangout Music Fest, an upcoming music festival in Gulf Shores, Alabama.
