Man arrested in connection with stabbing on Corner

Michael Anthony Williams II, 37, was charged with malicious wounding

A man was attacked with a knife in front of the CVS pharmacy on the Corner early Monday afternoon. 

Charlottesville Police responded to the incident and found the victim wounded without life-threatening injuries. Officers stopped the suspect — Michael Anthony Williams II — shortly after he fled the scene.

Williams, 37, was charged with malicious wounding. Williams is currently being held in Charlottesville/Albemarle Regional Jail without bond.
