November 13 Remembrance Vigil

A silent vigil, organized by the Class of 2026, was held on the South Lawn to honor the lives of Lavel Davis Jr., Devin Chandler, and D’Sean Perry who were killed in the University shooting Nov. 13, 2022. Students and community members came together to write notes on a banner, share apple cider and hot chocolate, and leave candles on the steps of Old Cabell Hall. The Class of 2026 will be the last undergraduate class to have been students at the time of the tragedy.
