The project will facilitate collaboration among faculty and community members, so that the University may better support the Charlottesville community.
The fundraising campaign publicly launched this weekend with a schedule of events open to the public.

First-year College students Jared Rooker and Anisa Mohamed were elected First-Year Council president and vice president, respectively.

"This process is better than outside recommendation letters," according to an email Jenkins sent. "I can ask the student for an interview, but more importantly we should put her on our watch list," he said in another.
Social responsibility in data science practices is one of the main focuses for the school, the University provost said at a launch ceremony Tuesday.
For some students, affordable housing options requires sacrificing what is ideal or most convenient.
“I could not sleep knowing that there's a mouse in a brand new apartment,” said second-year College student Uché Chima.
