Jeffersonian ideals

Opinion

Public property

Sometimes it?s OK to brag.Last week, The Cavalier Daily bragged about a former editor-in-chief winning a Pulitzer and a former managing editor being part of a team that was a Pulitzer finalist.

Opinion

Opinion

Opinion

Learning curve

Opinion

Preserving the planet

Opinion

Obama tea party

In the spirit of the revolutionary character of this country?s foundation, Thomas Jefferson once told a friend that ?the tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.? Whether Jefferson would have actually wanted revolutionary upheaval is doubtful considering the fact the man was often a detached idealist.

Opinion

A costly culture

The University prides itself on the fact that it is rated one of the most affordable public universities in the country.
