Before Virginia entertained Georgetown in the teams’ first-ever regular-season meeting, nine Cavalier seniors were honored, many of whom were suiting up for their final regular-season contest at Klöckner Stadium. But from the opening whistle, a certain underclassman stole the show.


Senior attacker Casey Bocklet tormented the Hokies Friday evening, scoring a career-high six goals and adding an assist.

Cavalier track and field to embrace Virginia Challenge

Steady rain forced Cavalier track and field athletes into University Hall Tuesday where they continued practicing. Runners warmed up in the underground tunnels, while jumpers and throwers assembled in a vaulted space known as “The Cage,” training for the important home meet, the Virginia Challenge, only three days out.
