Diame, other blue-chippers eye ACC

For those select few Cavalier basketball fans who combine a love for roundball with a passion for gossip, the 1998-99 recruiting binge was something out of a fairy tale. It was drawn out, with commitments rolling in from September all the way through April.

Center of attention

With all of the speculation surrounding this year's basketball team, the return of one player is reversing the criticisms of the naysayers of Virginia basketball. When Colin Ducharme bowed out early in the 1999 campaign - after playing only in one game and totaling 12 minutes of playing time - the Cavaliers were forced to face the season without the help of their only legitimate force in the middle. Moving on up

It's been a long road for Virginia men's basketball Asst. Coach Tom Herrion. Herrion replaces Gonzalez as the assistant coach in charge of recruiting.

Something to prove

With No. 7 Georgia Tech rambling into town this weekend and looking to wreak havoc on the Virginia defensive unit, many Cavs are feeling the pressure to perform at their peak.
