Cheers of “Nolte, Nolte” faintly rattled around the lower deck of John Paul Jones Arena Tuesday night after the senior forward poured in his second bucket of the game.


Virginia senior Ryan Shane defeated Elon freshman Mario Paccini, 6-7, 7-5, 6-1. No. 1 Virginia swept Elon and Furman over the weekend.

Men’s tennis sweeps both Elon and Furman

The No. 1 Virginia men’s tennis team continued to roll as it dominated a pair of matches on Saturday. The Cavaliers had a double header and swept both Elon and Furman (7-0) at the Boyd Tinsley Courts at the Boar’s Head in Charlottesville.
