On Saturday, the Go Global Expo and International Tea Festival marked the beginning of International Education Week.
Many CIOs chose to supplement the activities provided at their booths with performances of music and dance. 
Many groups incorporated props and traditional clothing in their performances.
CIOs showcased their cultural pride in their vibrant performances.
Students involve in the planning of Culturefest find the most rewarding aspect of planning to be providing students with a platform upon which to take joy in and celebrate their cultures.
“This is a good time to test out different cultural activities and see the responses people have to them,” second year College student and Culture Chair of the Chinese Student Association Keny Rudman said. “[It helps us plan] for future events like Global Expo.”
According to coach Dennis Hohenshelt, junior middle hitter Natalie Bausback is Virginia's "go-to person" at the moment. "We have to get her the ball," he said.
