It is an issue of ignorance on the part of the speakers, not naivety on the part of the students.
Virginia cannot afford to continue its decades-long indifference to its forgotten communities.

These melodies become reminders to notice summer not as one long stretch of time, but as a series of fleeting moments that each carry their own atmosphere.
Because University students live on- and off-Grounds for four years, spend time in neighborhoods and use city infrastructure, they continually shape the housing market.
With final exercises rapidly approaching, some graduates may find themselves heading towards an uncertain future as they leave the place they have called home
U.Va. Health now has a rare opportunity to set a new standard in the medical field, rather than passively waiting for the Virginia legislature to do so.
This requirement of blue books for in-person written exams is on the rise especially in larger lecture settings.
“MYLK” is an acronym for “Making Young Leaders Knowledgeable,” which echoes the club’s goal to empower students through leadership and service.
These songs offer a new way to celebrate the electric highs and emotional lows of this Tournament — all leading up to the Championship, when the winning team will celebrate their “One Shining Moment.”
