UJC representatives voted to mandate that no more than three of the five Voting Members of the Executive Committee can be from the same school.
A reduction in evidentiary standards for all cases would require an amendment to the UJC’s bylaws.
The idea to compile a series of materials documenting the history of the University Judiciary Committee was originally conceived of by Peter Bautz, former UJC Chair and School of Law graduate. 
Bautz said discussing free speech was important because of its role in UJC cases.
Peter Bautz, a third-year Law student and UJC chair, spoke on professionalism in the committee, quoting the bylaws to discuss how officers need to conduct themselves.
