Students want to foster a sense of normalcy at these games for other fans and for the players — a small effort that is worthwhile and affects all of us. In this sense, these games are still a success.
Movements are stronger with mass participation and support — it’s our responsibility to fight the battles of this generation.
The first time you experience something is never quite the same as the second or third time. The exhilaration and excitement I felt in this particular moment will go unmatched.
Hope presents itself as one of the few certainties here. We can hold onto hope — hope for a desired outcome, hope for a better future and minimize this election anxiety together.
Over time, I have developed a fond appreciation for my friendships and the sense of community that has only grown during my time at the University, and I doubt that will change.
