Vahaly aces singles, doubles tournament championships

Virginia tennis player Brian Vahaly took home the singles and doubles titles at the Farnsworth/Princeton Indoors tournament in Princeton, N.J., on Sunday. In the singles final, Vahaly, a senior, won a decisive victory over St. John's senior Erik Scharf, 6-1, 7-5.

Following the singles final, Vahaly teamed up with fellow senior Huntley Montgomery and captured the doubles final with an 8-3 victory over Princeton's Kyle Kliegerman and John Portlock.
