Timeless sounds flourish for classical Cabell shows

Old Cabell Hall will witness two musical revivals this weekend when the Glee Club performs Saturday and the Albemarle Ensemble/Rivanna Quartet performs Sunday.

The E. M. Skinner organ in Old Cabell Hall will come to life on Saturday for only the second time after almost two years of refurbishing. Ironically, the club will perform a requiem, a mass for the dead.

For the piece, by 20th-century composer Maurice Durufl
