Dennis has had a standout year, thus far batting .405 on the season with 13 home runs and a .755 slugging percentage from behind the plate.

Facing the plate she has struck out 258 batters, walking only 39. Dennis helped lead the team to a 9-1 victory in the second game of a doubleheader Wednesday against James Madison.
