Watson named to USBWA All-District III Team

Senior Virginia forward Travis Watson was named to the 2003 United States Basketball Writer's Association All-District III team for his performance this season. The Cavalier standout averaged 14 points and 10.6 rebounds a game while shooting 50.9 percent from the floor this season. Watson was also bestowed with second team All-ACC honors and National Association of Basketball Coaches All-District First five team honors. Josh Howard of Wake Forest took the district's Player of the Year honors while Wake Forest Head Coach Skip Prosser received Coach of the Year honors.

Funlola Fagbohun, associate director of the first year experience, describes her experience working with OTP and how she strives to create a welcoming environment for first-years during orientation and beyond.
