Virginia goalie named ACC Player of the Week

After one of his best performances of the season in the 10-7 victory over UNC last Saturday, junior Tillman Johnson has been named ACC men's lacrosse Player of the Week. The Virginia win ended the two-game losing streak and prevented the Tar Heels from claiming the ACC regular season title.

Johnson made 14 saves against the Tar Heels while holding North Carolina to a season low of just seven goals.

After breaking the 5-5 halftime tie, Johnson limited the Tar Heels to just two goals in the last 30 minutes of the game.
