Virginia sophomore golfer Brad Tilley captured the Metropolitan Golf Association title by wining the MGA/Canon "IKE" Stroke Play Championship.
Tilley, who was the only player who finished under par in the amateur tournament, won despite battling tendonitis in his left hand. In his freshman season, Tilley started all 12 tournaments for Virginia.
