Women's Golf Names New Assistant Coach

Virginia women's golf head coach Jan Mann appointed Danielle Roudebush as assistant coach. Roudebush becomes the first ever assistant coach in the programs inaugural season. As a former captain at UNC-Wilmington, Roudebush was a four-time letter winner and also received Dean's list accolades during her collegiate career. Roudebush, a former standout under Mann at UNC-Wilmington, has been working as a sales support Representative for the Acushnet Company in Fairhaven, Massachusets since 1998.

The women's golf squad will become the 25th intercollegiate sport at Virginia and will begin competing this coming season.

Funlola Fagbohun, associate director of the first year experience, describes her experience working with OTP and how she strives to create a welcoming environment for first-years during orientation and beyond. Along with her role as associate director, summer Orientation leaders and OTP staff work continually to provide a safe and memorable experience for incoming students.
