Cavs lose first of year, bounce back to record ACC win

Virginia volleyball rallied from a set down to beat the Blue Devils Saturday, 3-2, winning its first ACC match a day after the team's 16-game winning streak -- the longest in the program's history -- was snapped.

The Cavaliers' streak came to an end with its loss to Wake Forest in a closely-contested match at Mem Gym Friday night. Virginia won the first set but lost the remaining sets for a final score of 3-1. The team now stands at 17-1 overall and 1-1 in the ACC.
