Cavs look to regain ACC momentum vs. Tar Heels

The Virginia women's volleyball team will face North Carolina today at 7:00 p.m. at Memorial Gym.

The match is the first in a four game homestretch for the Cavaliers, who hope to regain their winning momentum after falling 3-0 to No. 5 Georgia Tech last Saturday night in Atlanta. North Carolina recently improved its record 12-5 after a 3-0 sweep of N.C. State in Raleigh. The Tar Heels have lost only one of their last six games, also to Georgia Tech.

The Cavaliers have had a tumultuous last few matches, after their 16 game win-streak was ended by Wake Forest on Sept. 26. Since their first loss, the Cavaliers have recorded one more win, against Duke, and two loses, against Clemson and Georgia Tech.
