Where's the Funny? We're Waiting...

Estimated reading time: 0 minutes

Imagine for a moment that I'm a single parent to an apocryphal teenage son. Like any responsible father, I want my boy to grow up with a good moral upbringing and raise him to have a strong work ethic. I tell him to study hard, take his vitamins and remember that the maxim, "If it ain't yours, don't touch it," applies to both museums and first dates.

Now, wisdom is a virtue that must be reacquired by each generation. As such, I've found it important that Manfred, my son, should see both sides to every argument before choosing the position I know is right. Because he's already in his teenage years, I thought it'd be great if I could take him to a movie like the R-rated comedy Waiting
