Virginia Men's Soccer Signs Star-Studded Recruiting Class

The University of Virginia's men's soccer coach George Gelnovatch announced a three-member recruiting class which includes the nation's top recruit.

Highlighting the class is midfielder Jonathan Villaneuva. The Dallas native was rated the best individual talent in the country by School Sports magazine. Villaneuva's many impressive accolades include leading his club team to a national championship in 2005. He was also a member of the U.S. national team in 2003 and was a four-time Texas state champion.

Rounding out one of the top recruiting classes in the nation are Matthew Mitchell of Boston and Chase Neinken of Roswell, Ga. Both were Adidas High School All-Americans, and Neinken even earned all-state honors as a place-kicker for his high school football team.
