'Hedda Gabler'

The drama department is bringing everyone's favorite modern woman to Culbreth. Conflicted, beautiful and conniving, Hedda's antics and final betrayal will captivate audiences. Henrik Ibsen's Hedda Gabler will showcase in the Helms Theatre beginning today. Ibsen's iconic play will run through Nov. 3.

William Christenberry

The University of Virginia Art Museum is hosting a series of installations by noted photographer, painter and sculptor, William Christenberry. Christenberry's subject matter ranges from Southern trees to a large number of pieces on the Ku Klux Klan. In his youth in Alabama, Christenberry came face to face with a Klansman, which influenced the two biggest installations: 'Klavern' and the Klan Room Tableau.

Radiohead finds a label... maybe?

According to The New York Times, Radiohead is close to signing with Coran Capshaw's fledgling label Side One for distribution of their new album, In Rainbows. The label is a spin-off of Red Light Management, a music promotion company with offices here in Charlottesville! Keep your fingers crossed for a Radiohead show at JPJ.
