The Friday, April 11 News article "Board discusses recent mental health bills" stated that the University's Incident Response Information System allows students to document mental health concerns. This system actually allows on-call deans to document concerns, including ones related to mental health. The Cavalier Daily regrets the error. This News article also stated that House Bill 1005 keeps an employee from getting sued if he makes allegations of mental instability in a student. The Cavalier Daily would like to clarify that the bill states that a public institution of higher education or an employee of such an institution will not be held civilly liable for harm resulting from disclosure of information to a dependent student's parent about the student's mental health treatment at the institution's student health or counseling center "unless [it] constitutes gross negligence or willful misconduct"
