Going too far

I am writing in response to Sarah Wade’s editorial cartoon published in the Oct. 6 issue of The Cavalier Daily. Wade may express her own opinion about John McCain’s ability as a politician, but it is horrendous that she would speak with such levity of McCain’s suffering as a P.O.W. His behavior in such a situation showed character of the highest order and should never be disrespected for political ends. While he may or may not make a good president, he is a true American hero and politics should not cause us to forget that.
