Double standards

If Osama bin Laden were invited to speak at the University, would The Cavalier Daily's only concern be free speech and politeness ("'Hoos against Yoo," March 23)? Of course not, because he's not American. But he's never been alleged to have killed more than a tiny fraction of the number of people dead in Iraq as a result of an illegal war that John Yoo helped authorize. Yoo, however, is American. Is it possible that there is a simple and barbaric prejudice hidden beneath your principled stand for diversity of opinion?
