Cavs collect landmark victory

The No. 21 Virginia wrestling team continued its undefeated season this weekend, pushing its record to 6-0 and defeating No. 14 Kent State, Edinboro and The Citadel in The Duals at Hershey, Pa.

Virginia won 6-of-10 bouts against both Edinboro and Kent State, the highest ranked opponent the Cavaliers have ever defeated. Senior All-American Chris Henrich led the way with three victories, placing him just one win away from tying volunteer assistant coach Brent Jones for fourth place all time with 107 wins. Redshirt junior Nick Nelson and redshirt freshman Jon Fausey also recorded three wins for the Cavaliers. Redshirt junior Shawn Harris scored an upset against No. 19 senior Matt Cathell of Kent State to help secure the 18-13 victory.
