Vols manage 12-point win

The Virginia women's basketball team fell to No. 4 Tennessee 85-73 yesterday evening in Knoxville, Tenn.

The Cavaliers went into halftime only trailing 39-41 but committed 13 turnovers during the second half as the Lady Volunteers broke away toward a 12-point victory.

Junior guard Ariana Moorer led the way for the Cavaliers with 24 points and six assists in 34 minutes. Redshirt senior guard Paulisha Kellum added 18 points and seven rebounds in 25 minutes of game action. For Tennessee, senior guard Angie Bjorklund led all scorers with 26 points.

Virginia (2-1) returns home to play Longwood Sunday.
