StudCo continues Hooliday Dining

Council plans to provide food, activities to students staying for Spring Break

The Student Council Diversity Initiatives Committee announced earlier this week that it will continue its Hooliday Dining program, which offers food to students remaining on Grounds during holiday recesses. The committee will provide meal options for students who plan to stay in Charlottesville for the upcoming Spring Break.

Diversity Initiatives first introduced this venture during Thanksgiving Break last semester. Students used nearly 400 meal swipes taking advantage of this program, committee Co-Chair Carrie Filipetti said.

Filipetti and Co-Chair Alissa Morein said they are looking to obtain food donations from local businesses and restaurants, which in turn would receive promotion for their establishments. During Thanksgiving Break, Wild Wing Caf
