UPD arrests trespasser

College student Farah Shah was charged with four counts of computer trespass Wednesday after allegedly accessing the Facebook and email accounts of another student, according to a University Police press release.

Following an investigation, University Police determined that Shah logged onto the victim's email and Facebook accounts on four separate occasions, then sent a message to a third party from the victim's Facebook account.

After being transported to the Magistrates office, Shah was released on a $2,000 unsecured bond. Shah's Albemarle County General District Court date is set for Sept. 30 at 9 a.m.
