What’s your favorite item in the closet?

I have this amazing grey sweater that’s chunky with braided material on the arms from some thrift store in Staunton. It’s so soft, and as soon as it’s cold out it’s the only thing I want to wear.

What’s your go-to item?

Scarves; I am always wearing a scarf, whether it’s around my head or my neck.

Who is your style icon?

I draw inspiration from the people around me. I take ideas from others and make them work for me.

Where are your favorite places to shop?

Goodwill. I love going thrift shopping because you can find clothes that are so unique and different. You can find things other people don’t have.

What are you wearing in this picture?

Skirt – boutique in Athens, Ga.; top – Anthropologie, scarf – Urban Outfitters, jewelry – from all over the place, flats – Urban Outfitters, sunglasses – Fred Flare
