Burglary reported at Pavillion III

University police responded Saturday at 3:24 p.m. to a past burglary at Pavillion III, according to a community alert sent by Timothy Longo, chief of the University Police Department and vice president for security and safety. 

The suspect, who forcibly entered the unoccupied residence sometime between 7:45 p.m. Friday and 3:20 p.m. Saturday, is still unidentified. 

Three bottles of wine were reported as stolen. No weapons or injuries have been reported at this time. 

This is the second community alert since classes have resumed for the fall semester, following an aggravated assault on the 1000 block of Wertland Street. 

Community alerts are shared via email to the University community when there is timely information about a threat that can be released to the community without compromising any ongoing investigations. Timely Warnings are issued when there is an ongoing threat to the community.
